2 minute self-care practice for when you’re too busy to stop
In the palm of your hand
No time for self-care? Work with your breath – you’re doing it anyway!
Try this practice with your hands: as you breathe in, open your hands, stretching out your fingers and palms. As you breathe out, make a gentle fist. Repeat six times, feeling how the movement of your hands is echoed by your ribcage. Opening the hands creates a sense of expansion, and closing them engages the diaphragm, cultivating a more complete exhalation.
Notice that when you breathe better, you feel better.
